Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
The ex-Commonwealth and British Light Heavyweight boxing champion, Peter Oboh, has declared that it was time for the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, to step down.
Peter Oboh said emotional attachment to an issue can blind judgment, hence Netanyahu should step aside as “he had become too over-violent out of emotional investment into the fight against Hamas.”
The ex-pugilist-turned-cleric also “use this opportunity to send my condolences to the family of the six innocent Israeli hostages that died in the hands of Hamas some hours ago.
“The Israeli government is saying the hostages were killed by Hamas, while Hamas fighters are saying it was the Israeli air strike that killed the innocent victims.
“The truth is I think it is time for Benjamin Netanyahu to step down as the Israeli prime minister. Most of the time when we are too emotionally attached to a mission, we can be blinded to the truth.
“I think Mr. Netanyahu is over-blinded now to the real world. How can you be over-violent to the Hamas when you know the lives of some of your persons are in their hands?
“Such an action is what the Italians call ‘stupido’. It is the Italian grammar for ‘stupid’.
“I know this Isreal and Palestinian war should not cross October of this year. Otherwise, the supernatural force, which is above all, will get involved and many mighty ones will pay for their evil deeds,” Peter Oboh added.
Also, speaking on the toll the conflict has taken on all concerned, the cleris said: “Besides the six innocent Israeli hostages that just died, which has made me and the Israel nation sad, we must not forget the Palestinians who have lost over 40,000 innocent people.
“These casualties include mothers, fathers and the innocent children.
“Furthermore, we must note, too, that a lot of innocent journalists and health care workers have lost their lives over this same issue.
“We are all one blood no matter the age, gender, race or status. So we must know to treat others the way we will love to be treated.”
