Imose reinforces commitment to educational advancement, gender equality in Nigeria

To contribute its quota to Nigeria’s economic development, an indigenous technology firm, Imose Technologies has reaffirmed its dedication to driving educational advancements and promoting gender equality in Nigeria.

The company made this pledge following a commendation from the Bank of Industry, BOI for its significant contributions to the country’s economic development, educational transformation, and unwavering commitment to gender inclusion.

Recall that the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the BOI, Dr. Olasupo Olusi, had expressed his admiration for the locally produced Imose Zedon X-Pro laptops, mobile phones, and tablets by Imose Technologies during a visit to the company’s assembly factory in Lekki, Lagos.

Chairman and Founder of Imose Technologies, Mr. Osayi Izedonmwen, while reacting to the visit said with the support of BOI, Imose Technologies has rapidly scaled its operations, manufacturing a wide range of educational technology products, including tablets and laptops.

He said: “Our Company’s focus on local production aligns with Nigeria’s industrialization goals and has led to significant job creation. “One of Imose Technologies’ standout achievements is our dedication to gender inclusion. The company’s workforce boasts an impressive 48 percent female representation, setting a positive example for other businesses in Nigeria.

“This commitment to gender equality is not only a moral imperative but also a strategic one, recognizing the value that diverse perspectives bring to the workplace.

“The company is revolutionizing education in Nigeria through its innovative platform, Teesas Education. This comprehensive platform provides students with access to past questions, video tutorials, and in-depth resources to prepare for standardized exams. The platform’s effectiveness is evident in the impressive 97 percent pass rate achieved by students who used it in a previous year.”
