Experts, researchers, others to converge on Abuja as fertility experts hold 14th annual conference

Leading experts, researchers, clinicians, policymakers and stakeholders from across the globe are to converge on Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, FCT city between Wednesday, Septembe 18 and Friday, September 20,2024, as fertility experts hold their 14th Annual International Conference in the nation’s capital.

The event slated to take place at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Plot 1161, Memorial Drive, Municipal, Abuja, F.C.T, would draw stakeholders from across the globe.

 The conference serves as a dynamic platform for exchanging knowledge, discussing innovative solutions and  and fostering collaboration to advance the field of Assisted Reproductive Technology,ART,and reproductive health in Nigeria and beyond.

Addressing the media, Thursday,in Abuja,ahead of the event, the local Local Organising Committee,LOC of the event,led by its Chairman,Dr Sunday Onuh, explained that  the 14th Annual International Conference of the Association for Fertility and Reproductive Health,AFRH, would offer discussions, workshops and interactive sessions led by esteemed professionals in reproductive medicine and fertility care.

Onuh,who is an obstetrician
,gynaecologist and Chief consultant,at DeDa Hospital,Abuja, explained that participants will gain insights into the latest advancements in ART, explore ethical frameworks for third-party ART and engage in meaningful dialogue about the future of reproductive health.

According to him, there will be sessions led by esteemed professionals in reproductive medicine and fertility care.

 A prepared text he read before newsmen at the event,says,” The 2024 Abuja Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the Association for Fertility and Reproductive Health (AFRH) is pleased to announce the 14th edition of its Annual international Conference, scheduled to take place from Wednesday, 18th September – Friday, 20th September 2024, at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Plot 1161, Memorial Drive, Municipal, Abuja, F.C.T.

 “This year’s conference is themed “Collaboration for Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART); Global Best Practices in Nigeria.
