AHZ Nigeria, a leading representative of UK universities, is set to host it’s UK Education Fair across four major Nigerian cities in October.
The Country Director AHZ Nigeria, Dr. Olukayode Shiroye, in a press conference in Lagos recently discussed the value of UK education for Nigerian students, despite economic challenges.
According to Dr. Shiroye, studying in the UK provides students with world-class education and the skills needed to drive Nigeria’s development in key sectors such as technology, healthcare, and business.
He emphasized that returning graduates can make significant contributions to the Nigerian economy by applying their global knowledge locally.
Despite the high exchange rate, Dr. Shiroye noted that interest in UK education remains strong as students seek to compete in an increasingly globalized job market. He stressed the importance of quality education in solving Nigeria’s structural issues.
The AHZ UK Education Fair will provide students with opportunities to meet UK university representatives, check eligibility, receive visa guidance, and explore scholarships worth up to £5,000. The fair is scheduled to take place from October 3 to 10 in Ibadan, Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Abuja.
Dr. Shiroye advised students to avoid fraudulent agencies by choosing reputable organizations like AHZ Nigeria, which offers free counseling and admission assistance. He urged Nigerian students to seize the opportunity to invest in their future and contribute to the nation’s development.
