The ex-British plus Commonwealth Light Heavyweight boxing champion, Peter Oboh, has appealed to the First Lady of Israel, Sara Netanyahu, to whisper ceasefire into the ears of her husband.
Oboh said Sara is one of the many persons that can tell the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, that it is time to ceasefire in Gaza.
He said: “The fighting in Gaza is no more seen by many, including many of the people of the Jewish nation, as a war between two states.
“It is now seen as genocide, abuse of human rights, and every day atrocity agaìnst children, with the mission for total elimination of the Palestine race. And the majority of the Jewish people are not for that.
“One thing I know as an ex-fighter myself is that once you are deep in a fight, all your feelings get numb. Most of the time, you need some other person to tell you stop now.
“Now is the time for Mr Netanyahu to be told by his wife to stop before this Gaza issue will spoil all the good work he as done for his nation Isreal.
“He must not forget this is his third time as the Isreally leader. A state in Nigeria called Delta has an adage that says ‘It takes just a little popo to spoil the innocent baby bumbum’.
“Netanyahu, please do not spoil all the good works that you have done in the past. As a leader, it is time to make peace,” the ex-boxing champ Peter Oboh concluded.
