Reality TV star and actress, Erica Nlewedim, isn’t really the most admirable and crazy damsel in the limelight industry in Nigeria. The likes of Toke Makinwa, Mercy Eke among others are ahead of her in that race.
She’s also not the highest on setting social media agog with her crazy looks and dressing. But certainly one cannot deny the fact that Erica is an embodiment of beauty and brain; a quiet achiever and a role model , who knows her onions.
From the outset , the reality TV star had known what she wanted in life, and she didn’t hesitate to follow her dream . On several occasions, Erica had expressed how passionate she was about storytelling and filmmaking. A passion that saw her travelling to the United Kingdom to study Film Acting at the Met Film School in London.
She rose to fame after participating in the Big Brother Naija reality TV show’s Lockdown edition, which didn’t end well for her. She was disqualified for threatening to kill a fellow roommate, breaking house rules, and preventing Prince Nelson, her deputy, from sleeping in the Head of House room. But the setback didn’t abort her dream of making it big in the showbiz industry.
Believing in her dream, the reality TV star has since become an accomplished actress, film producer, model and business woman. To her credit, she has partnered with big businesses and corporations such as Jumia, MyZotoApp, and Glo. She was also named the brand ambassador for Natures Gentle Touch in 2013, a hair and scalp care line that uses natural ingredients. From 2015 to 2017, she was the face of Access Bank, Maltina, and Zaron Cosmetics.
Founder of Beluxia Hair, Erica received the Miss Photogenic award after competing in the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant in 2014. This increased her popularity, as she was even featured in a Peak Milk TV commercial. She has also appeared in several films and reality shows. Months back, the beautiful actress joined forces with the Nigerian Red Cross society to save over 26 million Nigerians from dying of hunger. Erica is not just a reality star and actress, who’s living her dream, but also , she is a humanist who believes in rising by lifting others.
