Nkem Owoh, Victor Osuagwu bag ATA Lifetime Achievement awards

Frontline actor and comedian Nkem Owoh and Victor Osuagwu have been honoured with the Lifetime Achievement awards by the organizers of the annual Arts Theatre Awards. The  award ceremony held last Sunday online.

Unveiling the winners for its 2024 edition, the organizers said the thespians were honoured in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the theatre industry.

Other awardees include, Titi Akinmoyo and Anote Ajeluorou who bagged Special Recognition Awards, while Favour Ugochukwu received the Special Achievement Award for his innovative and groundbreaking work in theatre.

 Steve Onu popularly known as Yaw ,Jerry Adesewo, Efuru, Onyinyech Joy Ndukawon respectively bagged the Best Actor award. Also, Outstanding Theatre Production Design award went to Aidan Biddiscombe, while Morning Star Theatre Troupe won the Outstanding Ensemble Performance award as well as Outstanding Costume Design (Play & Musical): Nneka Amarachukwu Nweke among others.
