TIPR Nigeria game show set to strengthen family bonds, communal entertainment

Nigeria’s viewing audience is in for a thrilling and entertaining experience as ‘The Price is Right Nigeria’ a new game show debuts on paid television across the continent to strengthen family bonds and foster communal entertainment.

TPIR is known for its family-friendly atmosphere and the ability to unite people. This resonates with Nigerian culture, which often emphasises strong family bonds and communal entertainment.

According to the production outfit, Genesis Studios TPIR is a world-class game show that engages and entertains the entire family.

Nigeria’s entertainment industry is constantly evolving and TPIR’s arrival could further diversify the programming options available to viewers.

The show no doubt offers viewers the chance to win life-changing prizes, taking into consideration that Nigerians aspire for better living standards, the show could provide a source of entertainment and hope.

David Olatubosun Olaegbe, executive producer of the show said TPIR Nigeria is quite different from every other show as it is loaded with opportunities for contestants who come on the show as well as brands that identify with the show.

Olaegbe said that, unlike other shows where the audience is voting or cheering others on to success, the game show provides an opportunity for the audience to play for themselves and win grand prizes just by knowing the prices of everyday products.

On her part, Anthonia Adeniyi, project manager/series producer said that running a good television production like The Price is Right requires a high level of attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and a team of skilled professionals.

“Having produced award-winning Television shows like So Wrong So Wright, and Tales of Eve, Genesis studios has acquired a 5-year license from Franchise owners Fremantle to produce and broadcast the show in Nigeria”.
