Redouble efforts to improve security – Kwankwaso tells Gov Yusuf

The New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP Presidential Candidate in the 2023 general elections and former governor of Kano State, Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso has called on Governor Abba Yusuf on the need to redouble efforts to improve security and advancement of developmental projects among others in the state.

During a Sallah homage visit, Senator Kwankwaso applauded Governor Yusuf for his outstanding performance during the first year of stewardship in Kano state.

In a statement by the Governor’s Spokesperson, Sanusi Bature, Senator Kwankwaso commended Governor Yusuf’s dedication to advancing Education and women’s Empowerment initiatives aimed at enhancing the lives of Kano state residents, aligning with the values of the Kwankwasiyya philosophy.

He expressed delight at the Governor’s commitment to empowering women with substantial support, noting its significance for rural entrepreneurs.

Drawing from his experience as a former governor, Senator Kwankwaso emphasized the importance of effective monitoring to ensure the equitable distribution of empowerment grants.

Senator Kwankwaso called for enhanced efforts in security, empowerment of the less privileged, and advancement of developmental projects, underscoring his commitment as a stakeholder to provide valuable guidance and support to the government.

Responding, Governor Abba Yusuf, thanked Senator Kwankwaso for his mentorship and reiterated his administration’s dedication to upholding the principles of the Kwankwasiyya movement for continued progress and development in Kano state.
