The President of Youth Partnership for Africa’s Development (YOUPAD) has congratulated Dr. Titilayo Fowokan, President, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, ACFE, Lagos Nigeria Chapter, for bagging the Thomas Sankara Pan African Prize for Leadership Excellence.

In a statement, YOUPAD President, Henry Nkem said the prize is an instrument of commendation reserved for great Africans, whose lives exemplify the idea of living for the sake of others and who dedicate themselves to practices that promote African moral values.

He added, “YOUPAD is a Pan African Youth League and umbrella body for all student and youth organizations across Africa, actively present in 28 African countries. Our core objective is to build youth leadership and entrepreneurship to provide Africa with intellectually equipped youth to ensure a future Africa of our dreams, achieved through an integrated, peaceful, and prosperous Africa driven by her citizens and representing a dynamic youth force in the international arena.

“The Thomas Sankara Pan African Prize is an instrument of commendation reserved to appreciate great Africans whose lives exemplify the idea of living for the sake of others and who dedicate themselves to practices that promote African moral values, cooperation, renewal of the Pan-Africanism ideology, responsible public media, and the establishment of a culture of hard work and dedication to Africa’s development, transcending national, tribal, and religious barriers.

“This honor recognises and appreciates your hard work and contribution to nation-building through taxation, fraud extermination, and eradication, which are as outstanding as they are remarkable. Your high leadership acumen as a public servant and professional with zero tolerance for corruption, nepotism, or favoritism, and your contributions to community development, among others too numerous to mention in print, are commendable.

“We will be visiting Nigeria (Abuja) ahead of the African Youth Conference and wish to use that opportunity for the five-man delegation from five African countries, led by the President, to converge in your office in Lagos for this special and brief investiture on Wednesday, 8th May 2024, tentatively. Thank you, ma, and accept the assurance of our best regards as we hope the above-suggested date meets your kind convenience.”
