ABEOKUTA—Ogun State Police command, yesterday, said hoodlums suspected to be kidnappers have abducted one Nurat Ogundipe and a commercial motorcycle rider in Imeko, Imeko/Afon Local Government Area of the state.
Spokesperson of the command, Omolola Odutola, disclosed this in a statement in Abeokuta.
According to Odutola, the incident was reported at Divisional Police Office of Imeko Division, by an eye witnesses.
She added the victims were kidnapped on Monday, at 1500hrs, while returning from Ijio Iwere Ile, a community in Oyo State, which shares boundaries with Ogun State.
Odutola disclosed that the DPO in collaboration with hunters, forest guards, Vigilante, So Safe and Amotekun have been deployed to the forest and bushes, combing, to ensure the rescue and safety of the two persons kidnapped.
