Nigerian singer, Akinsanya Hammed, aka SpiceBoy, has said his new single, Grace, is inspired by the challenges he has experienced in life.

He told journalists during a press conference in Lagos.

“My life story inspired my song, Grace. The kind of life my parents and I led before I travelled to live with my uncle was very tough. We faced challenges. I thank God for his grace in my life.

Aside from music, I have two other businesses, which are my sources of income,” he said.

On the challenges he faces as a hip-hop singer, he said, “I faced some embarrassments at shows when I attended uninvited. However, one has to showcase one”s talent at shows against all odds. That is the stage I am  presently and I have a project coming very soon, an  EP titled  “Evergreen”. I’m here to entertain and preach with my music. I believe it will touch people who listen to it.”
