Victor Osimhen and Francis Uzoho are the two big omissions from the Super Eagles of Nigeria’s starting line-up against the Syli National of Guinea in a friendly.

Guinea and Nigeria will clash in their final friendly before the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations at the Bani Yas Stadium, Abu Dhabi on Monday (today).

The match will be an opportunity for Peseiro to evaluate his squad after almost a week of training in Abu Dhabi.

Napoli striker, Osimhen starts the game from the bench in what could be a deliberate move from Peseiro to rest the prolific striker ahead of the AFCON.

In goal, South-Africa-based Stanley Nwabali takes the place of favoured No.1 Francis Uzoho in what is his debut for the national team.

Real Sociedad striker, Umar Sadiq will lead the attack and will be flanked by AC Milan’s Samuel Chukwueze and Nantes’ Moses Simon.

Alhassan Yusuf also features in the starting line up on his debut for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Super Eagles Starting XI (4-3-3): Nwabali, Osayi-Samuel, Zaidu, Omeruo, Ekong, Awaziem, Alhassan, Onyedika, Moses Simon, Chukwueze, Sadiq Umar
