Bandits, at the weekend, attacked Kuriga community in Chikun Local Area of Kaduna State, where they killed a school principal and abducted his wife and baby.

Although the police were yet to react to the incident, Senator Shehu Sani, who represented Kaduna Central in the National Assembly, alleged that Mallam Idris Abu Sufyan, the school principal of Government Secondary School (GSS) Kuriga in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, was killed on Friday evening when the bandits attempted to abduct him and he resisted.

His relatives said the bandits, who were brutal, abducted the principal’s wife, her baby and another woman in the community.

Sani stated: “Mallam Sufyan lost his life when he courageously resisted abduction… He was killed by bandits when he tried to resist abduction. “They succeeded in kidnapping two women in the process. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.”
