Notable Indigenes of Edo State, home and abroad, including the Crown Prince of Benin Kingdom HRH Ezelekhae Ewuare have celebrated, FIFA-licensed agent, Drew Uyi after being named Edo State Youth Ambassador.
Drew Uyi has attained a role model status and mentor to youths in the state. He has been responsible for the emergence of several Nigerian international sport stars.
Drew Uyi was recognized for his exemplary personality and being an inspiration to millions of young people in the state, to leverage his effect and further drive his youth-focused agenda of transformation. The number of young people who follow the activities of the FIFA agent on social media highlight his immense influence among the Nigerians, and understandably so, the decision of the state government.
“Dr Drew’s passion for sports blossomed during his time at Edokpolor Grammar School, where he witnessed the emergence of young talents. This experience ignited
his desire to nurture budding athletes and provide them with opportunities to shine”.
D Uyi posted the publication on his verified Instagram handle, with a caption appreciating the state government for the honour.
“Thank you @edostategovt (Edo bulletin) for finding me worthy to be your Edo State Youth Ambassador Of The Month. I’m super excited to be an ambassador of my State,” he wrote.
Crown Prince of Benin Kingdom, HRH Ezelekhae Ewuare, was one of the first to react to the post, leaving clap emojis, signifying both an applause and approval, which Drew Uyi acknowledged. Also, renowned Adviser to Royals, Presidents, leaders & Government, Multi Guinness world record holder, and Chair, Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee’s STEM & Education programme, Professor Chris Imafidon, congratulated the honouree and urged him to continue to make impact.

FA licensed football agent Dora Kayode, who represents her husband and Super Eagles striker, Olanrewaju Kayode, also celebrated the milestone achievement by Drew Uyi.
“Congratulations, boss,” she wrote
Former Super Eagles interim manager and current technical director of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Augustine Eguavoen congratulated him over the recognition.
“Congratulations my bro,” the Ex-Eagles defender wrote.
Lucky Ekenonmaghele, a notable figure in the state and entrepreneur, also reacted to the social media post.
“Congratulations,” he said.
Edo Pride, an Instagram handle dedicated to projecting remarkable achievements and social enterprise of Indigenes of the state across the world, also sent a congratulatory message.
“Congrats,” it commented under Dr Drew Uyi’s appreciation post.
