Fast-rising music act Joshua Chiebuka Uju, better known as Juuva didn’t mince words when he  boasted that he’s back home to rule the airwaves.

The US-based Nigerian singer,  whose hit single “Designer Scar” took the music scene by storm in 2020, is ready to match his words with action as he puts finishing touches to his debut album featuring his latest single “Thinking” from his own record label.

Juuva envisions creating music that will stand the test of time, and perhaps,  establish him as a significant force within the industry. And his upcoming debut album looks good to do  the magic for him.

In a recent chat with our reporter,  Juuva expressed his readiness to hold his own in the country’s music scene,  while also acknowledging the achievements of the  emerging singers, who have made great impacts on the global scene in the past few years. With his debut album currently in the works, Juuva confidently positions himself as the new  rave of the moment. 

Juuva attributes his growing confidence to the support and involvement of top musicians who have  agreed to feature in his highly anticipated album.

According to him, these  collaborations will  definitely solidified his conviction that he’s on the right path towards becoming one of the biggest music stars ruling the airwaves in the country.

Juuva’s passion for music dates back to his childhood, but he decided to prioritize his education while nurturing his musical talent. Growing up in the outskirts of Chicago, he attended Plainfield East High School and is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration at Northern Illinois University.

On his decision to bring his music back home, Juuva said his mission is not only  to rule the airwaves, but also, to  contributes his unique brand of music to boost the local vibes.

“I have learned a lot from the likes of Davido and Wizkid, whose breakthroughs  didn’t come overnight. I have embraced hard work and patience as vital virtues on my journey,” Juuva said,  when asked about the lessons he has learnt  as a rising  artist.

Juuva is now ready to secure a spot in the Nigerian scene  with his debut album, featuring his latest single, “Thinking,” from his own record label.

As one of Nigeria’s finest music exports, Juuva is set to captivate audiences and make his mark in the country’s  highly competitive music landscape .
