The International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) has appointed Human Resources consultant, Grace Imagbenikaro as peace ambassador with a Chartered Fellowship Award.
IAWPA is a United Nations (UN) peace volunteer organization with a global mandate to promote world peace and appoint credible individuals whose lifestyles are anchored in promoting peace globally.
According to the IAWPA, with the award, Imagbenikaro popularly called ‘Karo has joined other personalities as Eminent Peace Ambassadors across the United Nations 193 member states.
The HR Chic was presented with the award at an event organized in Yenegoa, the Bayelsa state capital.
The recipient, said the award is a physical representation of her beliefs, adding that the IAWPA appointment has strengthened her resolve to promote peace through human capital development.
“I strongly believe that when an individual achieves inner peace, it can positively impact their social interactions, ultimately leading to peaceful communities and ultimately a peaceful world.
“Therefore, my goal is to promote inner peace, and I view the IAWPA platform as the vehicle to do so,” said the University of Benin alumnus.
'Karo is a Human Resource (HR) consultant, promoting healthy workplaces and simplifying HR strategies for MSMEs across Africa.
