Eid-EI-Fitri: Joy as Foundation distributes food items to less privileged in Nasarawa

The Eid-EI-Fitri celebration ended on a joyful note in Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, as an NGO the Nzube Ikeji Foundation distributed food items to the less privileged, vulnerable, orphans, and widows in the Local Government Area.

According to the Foundation, the distribution of the food items was in the spirit of Ramadan that reflects love and giving to people regardless of their background, social status, religious status, or race. 

Also, the Foundation noted that the gesture has been on for years and this year’s initiative is tagged, ‘’Ramadan Feeding Outreach 2023’’ and in line with the Foundation’s mantra to restore hope to the less privileged in the society.

Speaking at the distribution of the food items, Founder of the Foundation, Chief Ambassador Nzubechukwu Ikeji reiterated that the initiative is for humanitarian and charity purposes as well as to make life easier for the people.

Nzube who is also the CEO of Zube Sunstar Group said the gesture would help reduce the difficulty the less privileged face during and after the Ramadan fast.

The philanthropist added that the Foundation would soon embark on projects to support orphans to get education and provide skills training to widows, to make them self-reliant.

While appealing to the government at all levels to support organisations with such initiatives, to enable them to offer more assistance to orphans, widows, and other indigent members of society.

However, it was joy overflow as the people prayed for more of God’s blessings and upliftment upon the life of Chief Nzubechukwu Ikeji.

‘’Indeed we have never seen such a generous kind-hearted man like Chief Ikeji‘’ They said
