
.Predicts Victory for PDP in Delta
The Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Community Development, Chief Ambassador Jessa Harrison, has won his polling unit for the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Abraka at the governorship election.
In Ward 2, Unit 5 Urhovie Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, Jessa’s polling unit, there were 389 accredited voters.
At the governorship level, PDP won the polling unit with 161 votes followed by APC 94 while APGA polled 90 votes.
Speaking to journalists after the announcement of the results in Urhovie-Abraka, Jessa thanked indigenes of the area for keeping faith with party and assured them of more dividends of democracy.
Chief Jessa said : “ I am overjoyed with the turnout and for keeping faith with our great party by voting for PDP. As you have supported our party with your votes, you will receive more dividends of democracy in the coming years.”
Jessa, who is also Chief Executive Officer of Jessa Global Oil, said PDP is the only party in Delta, adding that he was confident that the PDP governorship candidate, Rt. Hon. Sherrif Oborewovri will emerge as governor of the state.
