A Forum of governorship candidates in Enugu State says they have accepted the outcome of the election held in the State on March 18, 2023. 

The group made their feelings known in a congratulatory message sent to the governor-elect, Barr. Peter Mbah of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

They also expressed readiness to work with Mbah in the overall interest of the state. 

The message was signed on behalf of the Forum by Obioma Nnamani, guber candidate of BOOT Party, Chief Afam Ani, guber candidate of the Action Peoples Party, and Ken Ikeh, guber candidate of the Allied Peoples’ Movement. 

They prayed for the governor-elect, wishing that his tenure would usher in prosperity and unity to the State. 

The message read in part, “The Forum of Enugu 2023 Governorship candidates heartily congratulates the Enugu State Governor-Elect, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah on your victory at the Enugu State governorship election. 

“We pray God to grant you the wisdom to lead Enugu State to bring development, unity and prosperity to our dear State.”
