Ogbagu-Ogume community in Ogume clan, ward seven of Ndokwa West local government area today declared that Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege and Rt. Hon. Friday Osanebi, Governorship and Deputy Governorship Candidates of the All Progressive Congress, APC, are their only choice in the Delta 2023 gubernatorial elections.
Speaking during a stakeholders meeting of Door to Door Campaign Initiative, DDCI, notable community leader, High Chief George Akpe who officially dumped PDP today for the All Progressive Congress, said ahead of the 2023 general elections, candidates running on the platform of the APC will win by a landslide in the community.
According to Chief Akpe, Ogbagu-Ogume will not compromise their support for Agege and Osanebi, especially as the people know that the duo christened “Tag Team for Development”, are best positioned to deliver the dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of Deltans.
Speaking earlier, state chairman of DDCI, Engr. M. C Aghanenu reiterated that members of the foremost political support group across the state will not rest until Agege, Osanebi and other candidates of the All Progressive Congress are elected in the 2023 general elections.
Engr. Aghanenu while admonishing the new defectors not to be cowed by the intimidations that will come from the decimated PDP following their exit, stated that DDCI will continue to move round every community in Ndokwa Nation to dismantle what is left of the tattered umbrella party.
Highlight of the meeting was the official welcoming of High Chief George Akpe, his followers and other decampees by the APC ward six chairman, Desmond Oliseyenum.
