Kalidou Koulibaly will undergo the first part of his medicals as a new Chelsea player on Thursday after agreement was reached with Napoli on the player’s move to London.
The 31 years old defender will be Chelsea’s second signing after Sterling and is expected to fill the void created by Antonio Rudiger and and Andreas Christensen’s departure.
Reports emerged on Tuesday that Todd Boehly had moved fast for the 31-year-old defender with only one year left on his current deal with Napoli.
It is also reported that contracts are being prepared to finalize the hard-tackling Senegalese defender.
