A renewable energy company based in Lagos, is set to raise funding from international investors looking to invest in Nigeria’s clean energy sector.

The company, Rianol Energy, had recently acquired over 3,000 hectares of land to scale its production of clean energy.

Speaking on the company’s plans to expand its operations, the CEO of Rianol Energy, Mr Mark Obisesan said “We are excited about the possibilities of partnering with Spark Africa, a global company looking to invest in clean energy in Nigeria.

Given that we have always pride ourselves in providing cleaner, safer and cheaper energy for households, it is exciting to know that our values align with such a reputable organisation.”

Mr Obisesan further noted that “Should we secure the desired funding, be rest assured that we will not only expand operations, but we will make clean and cheap energy more accessible to millions of households even as we will be creating thousands of direct and indirect jobs to boost the local economy.”
