Decline in TB rate to persist as CBN sells N150.8bn

…As MPC urges massive local refining
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has retained the Monetary Policy Rate (MPR) at 11.5 percent.

Announcing the outcome of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting in Abuja, Tuesday,  the Governor of the CBN Mr. Godwin Emefiele, said that all other parameters were also held.He expressed the Committee’ concerns over the downstream sub-sector of the petroleum industry, urging quickly commencement of local refining.
