Capt. Jamil, a celebrated aviation pilot and philanthropist took to twitter on the 16th of October 2020 to announce a scouting tournament opportunity for talented local soccer players in Nigeria.
This scouting tournament will be in collaboration with renowned international coaches and clubs who are looking to help local talents move on to the next stage of training trials in Norway.
In a live Q&A IG session hosted by Capt. Jamil, he explained how the trials will be held and he firmly emphasized that the lucky talents picked would have an all-expense paid trip, which would include their documentation.
“I believe in the talents of Nigeria, I’ve started this soccer scouting to help talented players irrespective of tribe and religion to explore their potentials. There’s truly so much that can be done”, he said.

People on social media app (Twitter) have been encouraged to spread the word off social media and motivate local talents they know to show up and register as this is an opportunity of a lifetime.
The scouting trials have been scheduled to hold in Lagos from the 14th – 16th of December 2020 at the Agege Stadium Lagos and in Kano from the 17th – 19th December 2020 at TBN. Signups and registration is free.
