Budding rapper, Iwunor Anslem Chibuzor better known as Rich Plug has revealed how the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic shattered his plans to have the best of 2020.
The Nzam, Anambra State indigene studying Bachelor in Business Administration in Cyprus hinted that he had earlier in the year aimed at touring China, but sadly the emergence of COVID-19 lockdown squashed it all.
Rich Plug narrated: “COVID-19 really shattered many plans, I was supposed to travel and get things done for myself in China but unfortunately, I was not able to do that because of the pandemic. To be honest, this whole pandemic encounter, taught me how to manage myself and know the value of things. I did because many things I was not able to do before the pandemic took over.”
The fast rising artiste, who considered the likes of Wizkid, Burna Boy and Lil Baby, as role models said he would welcome the opportunity to collaborate with any of the trio. “I find peace, comfort and fun in their way of singing, they motivate me to do greater things and put in my best,” he gushed.
Rich Plug, ventured into music because he saw himself getting to the top, pledged to do his best musically.
“I came and got into music because I see myself at the top and I have great love for music, I see many things I want in music, and I love it, so I am not going to disappoint myself and my fans,” he stated.
On what his fans should expect from him in the year, Rich Plug asserted: “I will give them the best of me.”
Also expressing his position on marriage and relationship, Rich Plug hinted that he is single, and not ready for marriage at this moment in time, “But I plan to get married and settle when I have acquired and achieved my goals in life. Marriage is not in my plans now. I don’t want to get into marriage so quickly; I plan to meet the love of my life who will love me and cherish me. That will be when I know I’m good to go. Marriage, should come “with peace of mind if you love and you are loved,” he stated.
