Chief Executive Officer of Rage Media Mr George Omoraro, has charged Nigerian youths, especially the upward mobile ones to have professional mentors if they want to excel and go far in their various areas of engagement.
Omoraro, a successful digital marketer, who said he founded his company, Rage Media, from the scratch when he had nothing, but only hope, informed that, he had also benefitted from learning about how to successfully establish a business from those ahead of him.
Consequently, he said he could count hundreds of staff in his employ directly and indirectly, and as a result of successes he had recorded, he said in any opportunity he has to speak to the youths, he, on many occasions advise them to be productively engage and get counsel from their seniors in the industry.
Besides, he also charged that the youths should be encouraged to acquire skills and engage in legitimate business practise, while also admonishing government to create a conducive environment for people to do business in the country.
Omoraro, said he has enjoyed great honour and privilege to be in the company of elderly Nigerian achievers to learn from their experiences as they shared the story of their journey to greatness. “Indeed, I’ve had amazing and unforgettable experienced with business gurus in the country, and this has sharpen instinct for business too,” Omoraro said.
The Covenant University graduate, who was at a time the number one student in the university, as Students’ Council Chairman, said, leadership training he had attended, coupled with productive moments he shared with his mentors had boosted his speaking career, adding that, “I look forward to a higher event where I would be more impactful on the youths and can further continue to contribute my wealth of knowledge to the Nigerian youth.”
He said, “Youths who want to build a successful career or excel in professions should associate with great men and women who have put well-established years into their endeavours and have over the years gathered experiences. These are the set of people they can learn from so they won’t make cheap mistakes their elders make that slowed them down at particular point in time.”
“Organisations too who have employed many of our youths should help them bring together top business men, captains of industries, and established individuals in their various endeavors, to a training gathering where these credible can future impact them for good works, so, young minds can learn something new from them.
I keep advising the youths to relax, that every man has his time, their dreams who surely come to pass someday.
“I also believe that if the youths are harvested by impartation of knowledge, we are a step closer to getting a saner society, as they constitute the bedrock of progress in any society,” Omoraro stated.
