Dandy dresser and businessman, Abel Egbarin has opened up on his new found passion, real estate.

It is widely said in different quarters that one of the top reasons people explore real estate is that they are fascinated by the sector as well as the gains and impact on the economy and lives as a whole.

Most realtors get a thrill from touring properties and imagining how to transform spaces and build lives within them. And this is why Abel Egbarin, the brain behind Obimzy Group, owners of Obimzy Properties, have found a new passion for the sector.

“Real estate provides a path to financial freedom, a flexible schedule, and the personal fulfillment of helping families own their home,” the soft-spoken Egbarin remarked in a brief chat.

Egbarin, is an astute individual with a profound business acumen, who has began growing his empire from his love for entertainment – music. His journey in the music world, he actively plays some musical instrument, endeared him to showbiz, hence, prompting his founding of Obimzy Group.

He is the brain behind the fast rising Nigerian company Obimzy Group, which is into real estate, entertainment, and hospitality.

“My drive is my passion for real estate, entertainment, and hospitality. I believe Nigerians deserve good things and the only way I can give that to them is through real estate, entertainment, and hospitality,” he said.

Mr Abel Egbarin is one the young CEO’s in Nigeria to watch out for and hopes to be at the top of Nigeria’s business ladder in the future having made success with the entertainment arm of his group.

“We made success with the Obimzy records when we floated the group about seven years ago. We signed on a music act, Junior Boy, who released chart topping songs and even collaborated with award-winning act, 9ice to top charts. However, we have a roadmap for the group which myself and the team have continued to follow. We didn’t just delve into properties and real estates, we have been making underground moves and consolidating on our efforts in Sagamu, Ijebu Ode, Lekki and Ajah with homes and estates littered around.

“When we launch our hospitality outfit, many will think we are newbies but we have begun our underground work but for now, real estate and properties is taking the front seat while entertainment keeps running and hospitality on the way.”

Barely five years, Egbarin; through sheer brilliance, has been able to push his company to a commendable position. Three of its homes situated in the Ajah axis were sold out in 6 months. Other projects scattered around Lagos and Ogun state are already having realtors begging for attention.

Coming up from the stables of Obimzy properties are other laudable projects like a proposed new affordable estate project coming up in Lagos and Ogun state respectively.
