Following the outbreak of Coronavirus, otherwise known as COVID-19, in the country, the Founder and Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, DIGC, Dr.Paul Enenche, has charged members on hygiene practices despite prayers.
Enenche gave the charge at a Sunday service with the theme, ‘Sensitization Service’ held at the Glory Dome in Abuja, where he described the outbreak as a sign of end time.
Enenche is a law-abiding teacher and preacher of the gospel, who respects constituted authorities in the country and has been using his platform to pray for the nation and the leadership of the country.
Being a medical doctor he provided members of the church massive quantities of hand sanitizers to keep safe and as a preventive measure against the virus, which also was placed on entrances into the Church.

He said: “To avoid further spread or contacting the ‘yeyelish’ devil called coronavirus, we need to live a clean and godly life. You must maintain a hygienic life. How can you leave the toilet without washing your hands and you use same to put food in your mouth?
“It is important we live a clean life both spiritually and physically. These are signs of the end, and we need to prepare for the coming of the Lord.”
The clergy also announced to the church that services will be broken into a maximum of 50 members who will form their homes hook up with live broadcast of church services on Dunamis Television Channel.
He explained to them that the meeting of a smaller number of worshipers became imperative in order to adhere to government directives on public gatherings and being a law-abiding church deemed it fit to support what the government is doing to contain the spread of the virus.

However, he made it clear about the Wednesday service, “Further clarification on this and other services, like the Worship, Words and Wonders Night would be made on Wednesday on air.”
Meanwhile, he assured prophetically that the virus will end soon because the power of God can conquer the plague while encouraging members of the church not to entertain any fear, but intensify prayer and faith with closeness to God for divine health including living a holy life.
“We believe strongly that the plague shall be over soon. Coronavirus cannot and will never overcome God’s children in Jesus name. You are preserved!”
