Fester Gbieor, popularly known as Yungfester has confirmed that he is working towards the possibility of releasing his album next year.
“I’m currently planning to start work on my EP or an album in 2020 and hope to conclude it before that year runs out or in 2021, depending on how many songs are involved,” he disclosed.
The artiste, who was born in Monrovia, Liberia, but now lives in the United State as a naturalized American, also further verified his correct stage name as Yungfester and not Young Fester as many have been incorrectly calling him.
Sharing his challenge as an up-and-coming artiste, he said: “Finding the right support and circle of friends to help push your music is a big challenge. Even now, the hurdle before me as an up-and-coming musician is promotion, having the money to push the music to the audience to listen to is a hard nut to crack.”
Nonetheless, he advised other budding musicians trying to break into the spotlight not to give up. “Never give up. Anything worth having, you have to fight for it,” he said.
Despite the challenges before him, he is motivated enough to continue his pursuit in entertainment, Yungfester claimed.
“I know that one day it’s all going to work out, after all, the likes of Wizkid and Tiwa Savage didn’t blow in one day,” he stated.
