Group threatens to dissolve Oporoza executives over community meeting absence

A group under the aegis of Concerned Indigenes of Oporoza community has faulted the executives of Oporoza community for calling for a general meeting without being present.

The meeting which was billed to hold on Friday, May 3, 2019, did not see the community chairman present, despite the presence of persons from Oporoza.

According to the group’s spokesperson, Mr. Freeborn Abraye the absence was embarrassing without a formal letter presented to the community for the act.

Abraye said: “Even in the absence of the community chairman, the attendees nevertheless went further to discuss issues bothering to the community.”

It was gathered that the outcome of the meeting was that the executives of Oporoza community were given few days to call for a general meeting and if they fails to do so in the few days as given  to them, the executives will be dissolved.
