An event of style & Allure is set out to showcase diverse designs from an array of indigenous and international fashion brands that cut across a unique fashion savvy segment.
According to the Ceo Promise John, the 2019 PJ fashion show will be 360-degree cultural events, as comedians, Musicians, Fashion models will all participate. Also, nominees from all entertainment sector will be invited to exhibit live on stage in Dublin, Ireland.
This year, Nigerian trending Nollywood actor and Award-winning Comedian Longinus Anyaehiechukwu Anokwute, known for releasing series of rib cracking comedy skits nationwide, popularly known by his artistic name Chief Imo. will be present as special Guest, Nigerian award, winning Gospel singer Pat Edo, Nigeria versatile singer Perfecta Ekpo, Olumireggae, Naxis Dg had been confirmed to perform at the event in Ireland.
Recall that PJ Fashion was established as a Fashion Modelling Agency to promote its annual PJ FASHION SHOW, legally registered in Dublin -Ireland, with the aim to promote African textiles and cultural heritage to the world. In 2010, it was officially registered in Ireland and immediately emerged into coaching young African models from the age of 15 years and above without neglecting aged persons
Speaking to journalists, Ceo of PJ Fashion show Promise John, disclosed how the journey started. She said, “ it all started after I couldn’t fulfil my dreams because I intended to model with mainstream fashion companies and designers, to enable me to earn a minimum income, probably alongside that popularity to enable me to support the less privileged”.
Also recall that the first PJ FASHION SHOW and Award event was held in Nigeria on the 20th November 2016, at Macdavos Hotel Ikeja Lagos, with the presence of Government personalities, Entertainment investors and notable Nigerian mainstream artistes alongside Nollywood actors and actress.
The event was designed by PJ Fashion show with colourful African textiles, ancient bicycles (White superb), with wooden seats. The recipients got nominated in 2016 December to exhibit in 2017. As at 2018 it was classified as one of the oldest and most known African in diaspora events in Ireland. The event will take place at Baffles Events Centre, 3/4 Damastown way, Damastown industrial estate, Dublin 15 in Ireland, come August 31st, 2019.
The company previously bagged awards for the very first time In 2014, PJ FASHION SHOW was honoured by the Ex-Mayor of Dublin Oisín Quinn with an Award plaque for Best Multiethnic event of the year in Ireland,
In 2018, It was rated the biggest and most popular Nigerian Fashion model events in Diaspora by Nigeria Embassy in Ireland.
