ASABA— Forum of Urhobo Leaders of Thought, has passed a vote of confidence on Olorogun O’Tega Emerhor and acting Director of Projects, EDP on the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Sam Adjogbe, insisting that both have made the Urhobo nation proud in their various areas of endeavour.
The forum in a statement by its Secretary, Alhaji Mumakai-Unagha Aru, said; “These two Urhobo sons have made the Urhobo nation proud in their various areas of endeavour.
“Emerhor has influenced the government of President Muhammadu Buhari to appoint Urhobo sons and daughters in strategic positions in the All Progressives Congress, APC-led administration. Emerhor is a boardroom guru with inestimable value.
“Engr Adjogbe, acting EDP of NDDC, has impacted lives of Niger Deltans and equally transformed the socio-economic life of the area through the various developmental projects embarked upon by the commission.
“All the communities in the Niger Delta are currently linked up with accessible roads, water, schools, electricity etc. With the EDP determination of making huge impact, we are confident that in the nearest future, the complain of the people will be a thing of the past.
“We therefore, call on all to give the commission a peaceful environment to implement the policy of the commission so as to deliver the goal of democracy and President Muhammadu’s Buhari agenda for the Niger Delta people.
“We as the Urhobo Leaders of Thoughts hereby, pass this implicate vote on these worthy Urhobo sons.”
