Amal Hassan, CEO of Outsource Global Resources attended the Inaugural Intra-African Trade Fair held at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre in Cairo.
The trade fair provided a platform for sharing trade, investment and market information and enabling buyers and sellers, investors and countries to meet, discuss and conclude business deals.
The trade fair provided a great number of new discoveries, information and key discussion points. Special dignitaries were in attendance, including Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, former President of Nigeria who visited Outsource Global Resources stand. He was attended to by Amal Hassan, who used the opportunity to showcase what her efforts in expanding business opportunities in Nigeria and Africa.
Amal Hassan also used the opportunity at the fair to show her commitment in growing Nigeria’s image internationally as the preferred outsourcing destination and ICT business hub by developing a global competitive information Technology enabled services sector.
The CNN Anchor and presenter, Aisha Sassay who was at the trade fair also identified Amal Hassan’s efforts in developing an enabling environment to remove the youths of Africa out of the streets.
To a very large extent, Amal Hassan’s Outsource Global Resources continues to build strong presence across Africa, especially at the Intra-African Trade Fair which provided a good opportunity to showcase its cost-effective solutions to most participants and potential partners. With most countries represented, the information available was endless and the trade fair was filled with like-minded people, all passionate about Intra-African trade and business.
This suggest the importance of the fair because African’s lack of access to trade and information as buttressed by the Analysis of the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) shows that one of the main reasons why intra-African trade is low at around 15 per cent compared to Europe (59%) Asia (51% North America (37%).
Outsource Global will be exhibiting at the 2020 Intra-African Trade Fair in Rwanda, as it expands and explores the global business and knowledge process outsourcing industry in Africa.
