Ogun State disengaged workers ask Dapo Abiodun, to fulfill promises

Disengaged Ogun State Government workers have asked APC governor-elect, Prince Dapo Abiodun to fulfil the promises he made to them and the people of Ogun state

The workers who were sacked in 2011 had promised to rally support for Mr. Abiodun and also to deliver their polling units across the state.

In a statement issued on Monday and signed by President of the Disengaged Ogun State 2011 Workers Movement, Samuel Awolesi, the group assured Ogun people of real-time development and growth.

The group said it was ready to work for the new Ogun government.

“Congratulations to our amiable governor-elect in Ogun state Prince Dapo Abiodun (MFR) of the All Progressive Congress.

“We wish you success in governance. May your tenure in office bring prosperity, peace, progress and joy to Ogun state. Igba yin a san wa o o,” the statement said.

It would be recalled that the workers who have repeatedly protested their sack visited the country home of Mr. Abiodun in Iperu, Ogun state.

The group received by Mrs Bamidele Abiodun, wife of the governor-elect assured of their support and asked that they are reinstated.
