Police officer kills one in Sokoto over fight for Governor’s cash

ABUJA – Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, Imo State Governor-Elect, Emeka Ihedioha are currently sitting at the plenary of the House of Representatives to pay special tribute in the honour of their fallen colleagues.


With them are scores of former lawmakers especially in the 6th and 7th Assembly who included Hon. Victor Ogene, former deputy chairman of the House Committee on Media and Publicity.

Their participation in today’s session is to pay their last respect to late Hon. Bethel Amadi from Imo State and Hon. Babatope Sugar whose unfortunate death occurred during the last governorship election in Oyo State.

Meanwhile, the session just got under way with the House Leader, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila describing the late Amadi as an extraordinary parliamentarian and friend.
