In a record breaking achievement, Universal School of Aviation, popularly known as USA becomes the first approved aviation school in Nigeria to have an approved satellite campus in the history of aviation training in the country.
The satellite campus is located in the heart of Nigeria, Abuja.
The MD/CEO of USA, Mr. Onifade Adekunle Eedris said: ”This is a great achievement among other milestones that has been achieved by the school. ”We have used the school as a platform to create awareness in the existence of numerous opportunities that the aviation industry has to offer the Nigerian youths.”
According to him, going to Abuja would give the northern part of the country access to benefit from what the southern part of the country has been enjoying through the school’s campus in Lagos.
The Director said: ”The variation in the school approval by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) that led to the Abuja campus also came along with newly approved courses for the school. The courses include; Dangerous Goods Regulations, Helicopter Landing Officers Course, Radio Telephony, Crew Resource Management and Weight and Balance (Load Control).”
Meanwhile, he pointed out that earlier in the year, the Universal School of Aviation was awarded as West Africa’s Most Impactful Aviation School, adding, ”the school has also been nominated for several awards within and outside the country slated to hold later in the year.
“This new campus among other achievements is dedicated to God and all staffs of USA.”
