ASABA—DELTA State Commissioner for Information, Chief Patrick Ukah, his Basic and Secondary Education counterpart, Mr Chiedu Ebie, Mr Ovuozorie Macaulay, Olorogun John Oguma, Olorogun Taleb Tebite, Chief Fred Majemite, Chief Dennis Omovie, Mr Roland Oyibo and Mr Emmanuel Okoro have rejoiced with Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on his victory in the 2019 governorship election.
They described the governor’s victory as a victory for democracy and for the entire good people of the state.
Ukah assured the governor of the continued support of the people in his second tenure in office, adding “The victory of the governor is well deserved because he delivered on his promises in his first term in office.”
Ebie commended Deltans who came out in large numbers to cast their votes and for their orderly conducts during the polls, adding “Deltans spoke loud and clear through their votes; they silenced the opposition and we are very grateful to them.”
Okoro who spoke in the same vain, said Deltans rewarded Okowa with a second term for his hard work.
Olorogun Tebite, Chief Majemite, Chief Omovie and former Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Macaulay, thanked God for the governor’s victory, assuring that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will continue to deliver dividends of democracy and more to Deltans.
Tebite said, “Chief Great Ogboru should quit politics forthwith and face his business. Not everybody can be in politics, therefore, he should return to his business as to create jobs for Deltans and Nigerians.”
