ADO-EKITI—A former lawmaker representing Ekiti Central Senatorial District, Senator Bode Ola has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the All Progressives Congress, APC,

He defected alongside his elder brother, Segun Ola.
The duo, who spoke at an event tagged Home coming in Ado-Ekiti, said they were overwhelmed by the ideology of the APC and Governor Kayode Fayemi’s welfarist programmes since he came on board.

Senator Ola, who was the SUBEB chairman in the Ayo Fayose administration, said that he was impressed with good works and focus of Fayemi’s administration as well as giant stride of President Muhammadu Buhari’s government.
Also speaking, Segun Ola, a former chairman of PDP in Ado local government area hailed Fayemi’s repositioning of the state within the shortest time.
Present at the occasion was the deputy governor of Ekiti State, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi, who handed over the symbol of the party, broom to the defectors.
Also present was the chairman of APC for Ward six at Okeyinmi, Mr. Temitope Adelusi, who welcomed them to the party.
