Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, dignitaries and traditional rulers are expected to grace the 70th Founder’s Day anniversary ceremony of Urhobo College, Effurun, Delta State.


The five-day event which is being packaged by Urhobo College Old Students Association, UCOSA, worldwide, will hold at the school’s assembly hall from 27 to 31 March 2019.

A statement signed by the National President of UCOSA Worldwide, Prof Chris Ugolo National Public Relations Officer, Dennino Tebite, noted that the programme will be centred on sustaining laid down legacy of school’s founder. Activities will commence on Wednesday March 27th  to Sunday March 31st, 2019.

The state governor will be the special guest of honour at the event that will be chaired by Alaowei Broderick Bozimo while Victor Hammond will be the Chief launcher.

Other dignitaries expected at the celebration include, HRM. Emmanuel E. Sideso.ABE 1; the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom,HRM Orhue 1, the Orodje of Okpe, HRM Akpomeyoma Majoroh; the Ovie of Oruarivie Abraka Kingdom, HRM AVM. Lucky Ochuko Ararile (rtd), the Ovie of Umiaghwa Abraka Kingdom, amongst others.
