“The two goalkeepers will play tomorrow (today). Daniel Akpeyi will start and Ikechukwu Ezenwa will finish up the match, 45 minutes for each of them”.

And then, Odion Ighalo trained this morning ( yesterday) after the injury he sustained at the last game, but he will not start the game but, will on the bench. He is not fit yet.

“The goalkeeping department is for the goalkeeper coach but I make the final decision.

“We are looking to the future, Uzoho made a good World Cup, he made a mistake but he is young and competition is open.

“He also hinted that FC Midtjylland of Denmark forward Paul Onuachu will also lead the team’s attack from the start.

“We will have new players against Egypt, new striker, new defender and we want to see other players but we all the time want to play good football.”

“We have four of our players in the U-23 like you know that it’s a very special situation which they must help to qualify Nigeria for the next Olympic Games, so they will join the Senior team to show that they are still part of the team. So we have shown good solidarity to the U-23″, he said.
