All Progressive Congress, APC, Governorship candidate in Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has described the ongoing voting exercise in the state as peaceful, even as he expressed confidence that he will emerge as the winner.

Sanwo-Olu made the remarks when he cast his vote at his Polling Unit, 019, Lateef Jakande Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.
Speaking in an interview with Newsmen after voting, Sanwo-Olu, a former Commissioner for Establishments and Training in Lagos, under the then Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

“Though, there were reports of late arrival of INEC staff and election materials in some parts of the state, it was a temporary setback that would be overcome. It’s a growing process.” He said
Meanwhile, turnout of voters at the polling unit, where APC lost to the opposition PDP during the presidential/national assembly elections, was low at press time.
