Group blasts Urhobo, Militants over Okowa, Ogboru

A Niger Delta group, Delta Peoples Mandate,DPM, has blasted the Association of Urhobo,Ex.-Militants headed by an ex-militant and self-styled General, HM Ebirie, over a recent publication in the newspapers, that okowa’s recent victory at the polls was a good omen and” hailed Ogboru for accepting defeat in congratulating the governor-elect” which would ginger infrastructural development in Delta State.

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa

The group in a press release signed by the President James Agbamu and the PRO, Carolyn Afun, also vehemently denied the report by the militants that Great Ogboru, the APC gubernatorial candidate had at any time admitted defeat by congratulating the Governor-elect.

The Delta group described the report in some dailies as inherently mendacious and tendentious, affirming that Ogboru, did not and would not, either, admit defeat or congratulate Okowa, especially as he is heading to the Tribunal to reclaim his stolen mandate.

DPM described the militant group as faceless hooligans hiding under the umbrella of ex.-militants,to tell outrageous lies, and fament   trouble.

Finally DPM enjoined all APC supporters to be cool and calm, as Chief Great ovedje Ogboru is recovering his mandate to take Delta to the next level of progress and freedom.
