Nigeria would be in worse state without the Church— CEDARS

By Agbonkhese Oboh

NIGERIA would have been in a worse state but for the Church and true Christians, as they are problem solvers and not creators of societal ills.

This was the opinion of Senior Pastor of Cedars House of Grace, Rev. Gbeminiyi Eboda, who spoke to newsmen at the church’s maiden service in Lagos, at the Grand Atrium, Lekki.

According to him, “churches are the preservative agents in Nigeria. So the proliferation of churches is a welcome development.

“The country might not be there yet. But Christians do not wait for the government to do what is right. As long as we continue on this part, the country will get there.”

On the church’s charity programmes, he said: “CEDARS House of Grace is a church that believes in enriching the lives of people through various means. One of which is our medical outreach.

“Now, we are taking it a notch higher by having a banquet for the people who live around Ilasan-Lekki and its environs.”
