While appreciating the Federal Government’s promise to Nigerians and the international community of free, fair and credible election on February 23, the association reminded Nigerians that there was nothing to gain through violence.

“We advise all Monarchs to educate the youths and all their subjects to be law abiding and shun any form of violence during the forthcoming general elections,” the association said in a statement signed by Eze Kelly and the secretary, His Royal Majesty, King Winston Ogoun.

The statement assured that members of AOCTRON would always support the peace process as the main solution to the country’s problem.
