LUTH raises alarm over abandoned accident victimBy Chioma Obinna

Management of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH, Idi-Araba, yesterday, raised the alarm over an abandoned accident victim at its Accident and Emergency centre, since June 2018.

The victim, a woman with an undisclosed identity as gathered, was rushed to the teaching hospital by the police eight months ago, after she was knocked down by a vehicle around Ebute-Metta area.

Though treatment according to the tertiary hospital, had been ongoing but the victim is yet to regain her mental balance, a situation that was said to have made it impossible to get her true identity.

Expressing worry over the situation, LUTH’s Corporate Affairs Manager, Mr. Kelechi Otuneme, said: ”She is presently being managed in the Ward and not yet mentally stable to give accurate information about herself and her relatives.

“Management is using this medium to appeal to members of the public who may be looking for a relation (female) to visit the LUTH for identification.
