At the end of the prosecution, which was conducted by Assistant Director of Public, the defense counsel, George Ezugwu, Esg, filled a “No Case Submission” in the presence of some witnesses.

He argued that the case has not adduced sufficient evidence in support of their allegations, and as such it was not necessary for the accused person to say anything to defend herself.

The presiding Chief magistrate Margaret Ekpedoho in her ruling upheld the submission of the defense counsel, and accordingly discharged and acquitted the accused person.

Recall that the case started in 2016, and was brought to an end following the final judgment of 16/01/2019.

The curvy actress took to her Instagram page to share the good news while glorifing God for vindicating her from the theft case.

“Today I am most grateful to God almighty for vindicating me after 3years of trials. 2016 is a year I will never forget; a year my goodness was paid back in many evils way by someone I consider as a Sister, framing me up for stealing, but no matter how you hide the truth it will always find its way out. The truth is revealed and the allegations you placed on me is been exposed. The court finally dismissed the case today and I am not in prison like you planned. My daughter, you will never take from me.. my God will keep fighting and exposing you for His name sake and the sake of the innocent girls you are deceiving. #saynotoabuse #mylifestory #nollywood #godpikin #sexyspirit #blessedindeed.
