ENUGU—NO less than 21 smallholder farmers have received training on Agribusiness management in Enugu State.
Sponsored by Total Upstream Companies in Nigeria, the young farmers were trained in technical, business, management, processing and packaging, branding/marketing, the use of ICT and leadership.
General Manager, CSR, Total Upstream Companies in Nigeria, Engineer Vincent Nnadi at the graduation ceremony in Enugu, said that the programme was “part of the social responsibility of the company in contributing to food security and attainment of the relevant Millennium Development Goals.”
Represented by the Head, CSR Partnership, Mrs. Delight Sunday-Anecho, Nnadi said the programme was an initiative of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation/Total Upstream Nigeria Ltd partnership.
