UGHELLI—A CHIEFTAIN of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Delta State, Chief Frank Kokori, has asked an elder statesman, Chief Edwin Clark, to stay out of politics if truly he has retired from politics as he claimed.

Chief Edwin Clark

Kokori made his position known while reacting to comments by Clark that the Delta State APC governorship candidate, Chief Great Ogboru, was wasting his time and can’t defeat Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The APC chieftain also accused Clark of speaking with both sides of his mouth and asked Nigerians, particularly Deltans, not to take his words seriously.

He said: “What moral standing does he have to say that we in the APC should follow his own zoning arrangement?

“In the APC, we do not have what you call a zoning arrangement, either written or unwritten. He has no right to say that we must use the so-called zoning arrangement if Ogboru must win.”
