All that is needful is for you to do exactly what is expected of you, and after you must have done it, you will not miss the most co-veted trophy on earth: the ticket to heaven.

Some very religious peo-ple are of the opinion that the moment their time on earth is ended, they will find themselves in the lush and tastefully decorated corridors of heaven, because of their contributions to society.

However, the truth remains and no matter how wealthy you may be, money will lose its’ flare and value by then and it will not be able to open the doors of heaven; you may be the most educated academic with patent rights, but your paper certificate will not open the doors of heaven; you may possess titles as the most celebrated per-sonality on earth, but your popularity on earth will amount to nothingness before God because it will not be able to open the doors of heaven.

CAN vows: Bad leader will not be elected as our President in 2019

This is because the only passport to heaven is salvation from sin. If you really want to get to heaven, you will need that ticket today and right now. The reason is because, if there is anything you need today, above any other thing you have ever got in life, it is the sal-vation of your soul. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that who-soever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” When you become a believer, and not a doubter to the saving grace of God, you will not per-ish. But if you believe in another way, you will perish, especially if you think that another stairway exist that you can climb to heaven. You may climb, but surely and certainly it will collapse before your very eyes.

The salvation Jesus Christ brought has all that we need, because it is for all seasons, and meant for both old and young, rich and poor, literate and illiterate, male and female. Yet without the ingredients of salvation in your veins, you will die in sin and go to hell. That is why, as a sinner, you need total redemption from sin be-cause it has one notable identifier, which is, it saves all sinners.

The state of the sinner is weaved around the circle of sinful deeds: the unmarried singles are tainted in fornication while the married are snared in adultery; the jobless has found employment in stealing at home and on the streets of major and minor cities of our country while the gainfully employed in stealing from the office and places of employment; those whom you may term as socially honourable personalities are either fighting on the floor of law making or secretly spon-soring killings in our neighbourhoods. In fact, every nook and cranny, sin is being perpetrated. That is why the scriptures says in Romans 3:10, “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:”

You may be a farmer or an engineer, a graduate or undergraduate, educated or uneducated, fat or slim, rich or poor, etc. It does not matter your status in life, because sin does not segregate. It holds sinners bound and compels them to indulge in the most despicable of acts, even if it is against their will. Sin has a way of making sinners not to understand its’ damnable con-sequences nor will it want to give them the leeway to run towards the escape route, which is God. Hence. Romans 3:11 categorically states that, “There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.”

Has this woman committed sin?

Though there may be various churches scattered all over our streets and neighbourhoods, yet most of these outlets lack the essential characteristics of Christlikeness; and those seeking for quick fix solution centres, instead of seeking for God, run into these makeshift mushroom gatherings looking for children, husband and wife, riches and prosperity that will, unknown to them, fly away one of these days; and as a result of their greedy self-centered nature, they and the pastors or priests, who they encounter at these places, have completely become unprofitable in the sight of God who created them.

Romans 3:12 “They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.” They have not only sold themselves to doing evil, but they have also taught other people to promote evil in the sight of God; and as if that is not enough, Romans 3:13-15 “Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood:” Abortion has become the new normal and a norm for them. Some of them are not even married, yet they are indulging in amorous affairs and have taken part in series of abortion while the married are also guilty of the act of killing unborn babies.

Romans 3:16-18 ‘Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes.” Sinners are no longer afraid of God any more. They do whatever their fallen nature suggest to them, without taking God and dire consequences of their actions into account: they go to church on Sunday, but spend the rest of the week days worshipping their entertainment idols on television, the internet and become slaves to alcoholic beverages, liquors and spirits.
